Cheat sheet

Collect formulas from notes as you read, organise them by topic, and print a one-page revision sheet.

The cheat sheet is your own page of formulas, built up as you read. Everything you add is grouped by topic and prints cleanly, so by exam time you have a revision sheet in your own words.

Adding from a note#

Select a formula, or a passage containing several, in any note and choose Add to sheet from the toolbar that appears. The cheat sheet opens in a tab with the new items added. Each formula in the selection becomes its own item, filed under the note's course and unit, for example P3 · Integration.

If the selection has no maths in it, the text itself is added, so you can also collect a definition or a rule of thumb.

Tip

Formulas keep their exact LaTeX source when added, so they render on your sheet exactly as they do in the note.

Adding your own#

Type LaTeX on the Add a formula line at the top of the cheat sheet and press Enter or choose Add. The rendered formula appears under it while you type. Items you type yourself are filed under My formulas.

\frac{d}{dx}\sin x = \cos x
\int_a^b f(x)\,dx = F(b) - F(a)
P(A \cup B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A \cap B)

Not sure of the LaTeX? Select the formula in a note and choose LaTeX to copy its source.

Organising#

ToDo this
Label an itemHover it, choose Add a label (the tag icon) and type, for example "chain rule". Click a label to change it; it is saved when you press Enter or click away.
Edit a formulaClick it, change the LaTeX, then press Enter (or Esc to cancel)
ReorderHover the item and use Move up and Move down to move it within its topic
RemoveHover the item and choose Remove (the bin icon)
Go back to the sourceClick the note title under any item that came from a note

Printing#

Choose Print (the printer icon beside the title). The description, the formula line, buttons, links back to notes and empty labels are left out, and each topic is kept together on the page where possible. Print to PDF to keep a copy on your phone.

Where it is saved#

Your cheat sheet is saved in your browser as a guest, or to your account when you are signed in, so it is the same on every device. See Accounts and sync.
