Shortcuts use ⌘ on macOS and Ctrl on Windows and Linux. The tables below show the macOS keys.
Workspace#
These work anywhere in the workspace, even while you are typing in a field.

Watch out
Some browsers keep certain shortcuts for themselves, most often ⌘ W and ⌘ 1 to 9, which close or switch browser tabs instead. Use the tab bar, a tab's right-click menu or the command palette for the same actions.
Command palette#
The command palette searches notes (titles, headings and text), courses, units, tools and actions at once. Start with one of these characters to narrow it down:

When adding cards, Enter in the answer (or ⌘ Enter on either side) adds the card.
